The location of Swan LNG port enjoys normal and stable weather conditions throughout the year. This allows for safe transport of LNG vessels in and out of the port. The skies are usually clear and the seas are calm. However, being one of India's premier port facilities, we have left no stone unturned to ensure that our port is weatherproof, even under the harshest conditions. From mooring to docks, to every nut and bolt, the port is designed to withstand calamities and hence ensure the safety of its people and surroundings. The pipelines are also weather tested to ensure that fluctuations in atmospheric conditions do not affect LNG transport at any time. The port is also closest to some of the popular import destinations.
