Terminal
Our LNG port is envisaged to have 2 dedicated terminals where LNG cargo can be unloaded through to the Floating storage and Regassification Units (FSRU). LNG is stored in the tanks of FSRU at -160 ºC and pumped out of the tank for sending out to customers after regasification.
The main components of the terminal are LNG jetty with cryogenic unloading arms, FSRU to receive and regasify LNG at -160 ºC, LNG pumps to boost pressure at the rate of 80-100 bar, LNG vaporizers and send-out pipelines. The send-out pipelines carry the gas to the delivery point which is located at a distance of One Kilometer from the terminal.
